Social Video are short bite-size bits of video content that show up all over your facebook and twitter feeds. They can be informative, sweet and goofy, or a call to action to engage your audience.
5 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN MAKING SOCIAL VIDEO:
+ Story is important: Know what you’re trying to tell you audience before you start putting the pieces together.
+ Short is better: Keep social video under a min (90 seconds max).
+ Make a vertical version: Mobile is how a lot of people consume their video content these days. Snapchat and Instagram Stories thrives on vertical video. Make sure you make both a vertical and horizontal version.
+ Templates: There are video templates already out there to make this process easy on the novice editor. You can buy transition packs and graphic packs from Creative Market and VideoHive to make the job easier.
+ It doesn’t have to be video: You can integrate photos into social video pulled direct from social media. iMovie and other editing software will animate it for you.
